Nippon Seiki (Europe) B.V. , www.nippon-seiki.eu.com, is the European operation of the Japanese company, Nippon Seiki Company Limited - a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of driver information display products for many of the world’s well known automotive and motorcycles  manufacturers.
Globally with an annual turnover of circa 1,9 billion Euro and around 14,000 employees , they have sales offices, plants and development facilities at various locations in Asia, North and South America and Europe.
In Europe our client, is supplying to several of the major Automotive and Motorcycle OEMs with a focus on Instrument Clusters, Head Up Displays & Sensors. The European headquarters is based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands  with local satellite offices to support  the business development activities in Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
 

Functional specification

Based in Hoofddorp, reporting to the managing director and with a predominantly European management team you will be the strategic business partner on HR issues regarding the full complement of ‘NSEU’ staff  working in the Netherlands, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. The key factor is a proactive HR policy for further development of employees and organisation. The Manager HR is also responsible for the development and implementation of HR processes, policies and procedures. Fields of attention are: leadership, training, competency management, performance management, recruitment, HR administration and employee satisfaction.
 

Profile

For this new role you hold a Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in Human Resources with at least three years’ experience in a similar role. You can operate in a (technical-engineering) fast moving environment within an international setting. You are able to organize yourself in working across multiple countries, are sensitive to cultural differences and have good experience with and knowledge of EU Labour law principles and policies. The latter with a focus on the Netherlands, Germany, France and the UK. Your personality shows a confident self-starter with a strong drive, analytical, accurate, diligent, service and quality driven with excellent organizational and planning skills. You are fluent in English and a second language, German or French, is a benefit. Furthermore you are available full time and willing to travel up to about 30%.
